When I started my own weight loss journey and needed to hit 200g of protein a day, I found myself doing something embarrassing at every meal — picking out the paneer and eggs from the gravy and leaving the rest behind. The gravy was too calorie-dense, had almost no protein, and didn't fit my goals.
I was double-scooping whey, eating 8 eggs a day, doing everything I could just to hit my numbers. Meanwhile the food I actually loved — the butter masala, the rich Indian gravies — just sat there on the plate, untouched.
That's when it hit me. What if the gravy itself had the protein?
Not a shake. Not a bar. Not a supplement. A real Indian meal — made quickly, tasting exactly like it should, with the protein already built in. SHOR was born from that one frustrating moment at the dinner table.
