THE IDEA

Protein should
belong in the meal.

Not something you drink after it. Not something you force yourself to eat alongside it. Something that's already part of the food you love.

SCROLL TO EXPLORE
01

We didn't want
to change the
way people eat.

Indian food has never been boring. It has never needed fixing.

But eating for your goals can sometimes mean leaving the food you actually love behind.

More protein usually means shakes, bars, chicken breast, egg whites, or another meal that doesn't really feel like a meal.

And somewhere along the way, eating better starts feeling like giving something up.

We didn't think it had to.

THE BEGINNING

I got tired of picking the paneer out and leaving the gravy behind.

I grew up around Indian food. My family has been running restaurants for decades, so rich, unapologetically Indian food was simply normal to me.

Then I started taking protein seriously.

Suddenly, I was picking the paneer and eggs out of my meals and leaving the gravy behind.

The gravy was the part
I actually wanted to eat.

So I started asking a very simple question:

THE QUESTION

What if the gravy
itself had the protein?

That question became SHOR.

02

NOT ANOTHER PROTEIN PRODUCT

We put the
protein in the
gravy.

01

READY TO COOK

A complete gravy base, not a masala or seasoning you have to build around.

02

PROTEIN BUILT IN

The protein is part of the gravy itself, rather than something added afterwards.

03

REAL MEALS

Paneer, chicken, tofu, vegetables, eggs. Cook with what you already eat.

04

REAL INDIAN FOOD

The goal isn't to make healthy food taste healthy. It's to make Indian food.

HOW IT FITS INTO YOUR LIFE

Same meal.
More protein.

SHOR works the way a regular curry base does. The difference is what's built into it.

01

OPEN

Start with your SHOR gravy base.

02

COOK

Mix with water and milk and bring it together.

03

ADD

Paneer, chicken, tofu, eggs or vegetables.

04

EAT

A proper Indian meal with protein built in.

THAT'S IT.
03 THE PHILOSOPHY

We're not trying to replace

Indian food.

We're trying to make it

work harder.

WHERE WE'RE GOING

This is just
the beginning.

DAL CURRY SABZI SAMBAR MORE FLAVOURS DAL CURRY SABZI SAMBAR MORE FLAVOURS

We're starting with Indian gravies because that's what we know.

More flavours. More formats. More ways to make everyday food work harder.

Same philosophy. Real food first.
04

RIGHT NOW

We're still
early.

And we're okay with that.

SHOR is launching in small batches. We're testing with real people, listening to what they say and changing things when they don't work.

We'd rather build the product properly than pretend we've already figured everything out.

If you're here now, you're seeing SHOR before most people do.

BUILT BY ISHAAN CHORDIA

I wanted to make the food I grew up with work for the way I wanted to eat.
